Adding a new key---> Will my character be lost?
Hi, well I made my younger bro a believer, and lol he loves Guild Wars. Now the problem is, we have 1 key, so we have to share it So as you know, when Im playing he cant(or well if he's evil enuf he could boot me lols). We would love to team up and play, so I am planning to get a second key. My problem is, if I get a second key, and add it to my account, will either of us have to restart? Given It's been only 4 days for me, 2 days for him...(lvl 9 and lvl5), and I would rather not have to restart, cuz both of us like our characters So anyone know?

The best thing to do would be to buy a new Key and add it to a new account. One of you would have to restart, but its better this way. But no, with a new key on your current account you wont have to restart, either of you.

Possibly, you could ask customer service to transfer your character, but you could probably make a new lv5 in the time it would take them to respond and say it's impossible. Go to http://support.guildwars.com/ and click on "Ask A Question" if you want to try (they're very nice). |

Yes, you should make a new account with the new key, and you will have to start a new character. That shouldn't be too much of a burden on you though. I got to level 4 in only 2 hours on one character, and level 8 in 9 hours on my other.
